Daniel Ricciardo
slams 'amateur' teammate Max Verstappen after Hungarian Grand Prix crash.
Daniel Joseph Ricciardo was born 1 July 1989. He is an
Australian racing driver who is currently competing in Formula One for Red Bull
Racing.
Ricciardo returned to winning form after over a two-year
absence when he won the 2016 Malaysian Grand Prix, eventually sealing third in
the championship for the second time in three years at the 2016 Mexican Grand
Prix.
This year in Hungarian Grand Prix 2017, Daniel Ricciardo has
accused his Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen of being an amateur racing
driver. This incident occurred when he was kicked out of the Hungarian Grand
Prix on the first race.
Indeed, after colliding with the opening round of the
Hungarian Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo suggested Max Verstappen be the
"loser".
Speaking in the TV pen after retirement, Ricciardo said
Verstappen had tried a move that would never work. General information revealed
that Verstappen was handed a 10 seconds for the incident, but could be punished
further after the race.
More info about Daniel Ricciardo:
He won the British Formula 3 Championship in 2009. After
Mark Webber announced his retirement from Formula One, Ricciardo was confirmed
as his replacement at Red Bull Racing for 2014.
In his first season with Red Bull, Ricciardo finished third
in the championship with his first three Formula One wins, in Canada, Hungary,
and Belgium.
Ricciardo qualified 10th at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix
after spinning into the tyre barrier in Q3.
Ricciardo incurred a 5 place grid penalty due to an
unscheduled gearbox change as a result from the crash. A gearbox sensor issue
prevented him from taking the start and when he did get going, two laps down, a
sudden fuel pressure problem ended his race after 25 laps.
