Trae Young with 22 assists in the Sooners’ victory.
On Tuesday night in the Sooners’ first game since moving
into the Top 25, wiewers have witnessed the shine of Freshman Trae Young. He
scored 26 points and tied an NCAA record with 22 assists in the Sooners’
victory.
The college basketball world seemed like a boom when
Oklahoma guard Trae Young's talent was so great. Many have commented that he
led the country in scoring, creating some history with his passing.
He has taken up carried the Sooners up 9-1, and led the team
from unranked to No. 17. Trae Young finishes his big point as he leads the Big
12 team with 22 assists as No. 17 Oklahoma rolled past Northwestern State
105-68 on Tuesday night.
People think that he has got the Sooners shining with their
Big 12 opener 11 days away. It was fun when Young scored 26 points with 22
assists in the Sooners victory. So it can be said that he has a record of NCAA.
A very proud record Trae Young is the first player in the
last 20 years with at least 20 points and 20 assists in the same game.

Rayford Trae Young was on 1998. He is an American college
basketball player for the Oklahoma Sooners.
On February 16, 2017, Trae committed to the Oklahoma
Sooners. At the start of the season, on November 12, Young recorded 15 points,
10 assists, and 6 rebounds in a win over Omaha University.
Three days after his college debut, Trae recorded 22 points
and a season-high 13 assists in a win over Ball State University. On November
26, Young recorded a season-high 43 points and 7 assists in a 90–80 win over
the Oregon Ducks.
That game would have his name draw multiple comparisons to
Stephen Curry in terms of his playing style. On December 19, Young tied the
NCAA single-game assists record with 22, while also recording 26 points in a
blowout 105–68 win against the Northwestern State Demons.
