Pia Miller was born in 1983. She is an Australian fashion model, actress and television presenter in Chile. Miller emerged after winning Dolly's annual model contest. Then she joined the second series of Search for a Supermodel.

In August 2014, Miller starred as Home and Away in Katarina's regular role as "Kat" Chapman. Miller began filming her first scene two weeks after her audition. Initially she moved to Sydney and filmed.

Kat was introduced as Summer Bay's new policewoman. Miller said she was proud to play a strong character and added "I saw the character breakdown and what excited me the most about this character was that she isn't, in any way, sexualised."

On August 3, 2017, Daily Mail Australia's Erin Doyle reported that Miller was shooting the final scene for the show. News channels then announced photos of Kat's funeral ritual. Miller confirmed her departure from the program in October 2017.

She said about her time on Summer Bay with the final scene with a genuine mood.
