People are paying attention to the rumor that Calgary Flames
signed Jaromir Jagr 45 years old.
May be as though free-agent right-winger and longtime NHL
forward Jaromir Jagr has finally found his next home around the league. Mark
Messier 1,193; 4.
The Calgary Flames are a professional ice hockey team based
in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They are members of the Pacific Division of the
Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Jaromir Jagr picked Calgary to be his first Canadian
franchise in his 24 seasons. He was born on 15 February 1972. He is a Czech
professional ice hockey right winger for the Calgary Flames of the National
Hockey League.
There is much speculation that $ 1 million plus bonuses for
him on a one year contract will be well spent if he maintains productivity
levels.
It is hoped that the late addition of a Hall of Famer in the
future will add some resonance to a team that is expected to advance to the
playoffs.
