Breaking news about  Hurricane Ophelia.

Weather warnings for UK as Hurricane Ophelia threatens 80mph gusts. Weather warnings were issued in most of the west of England on Monday, with the hurricane's 80 mph hurricane Ophelia causing traffic disruption. Beside may be some areas in the east there will be unusually warm temperatures.

Ophelia is downgraded from a category three hurricane to the second on Sunday, but will weaken when the storm hits the UK, exactly 30 years after the massive hurricane in 1987 that killed 18 people.

Severity than average it windy weather is expected across the entire west of the west of England. Yellow alert in places like Scotland, north-east England, Wales, north west England, West Midlands, south west England, and Northern Ireland.

The hardest part is the red weather warning that has been applied in Ireland. Marine areas, strong winds, strong storms and heavy rains.Therefore, acute-level control measures are discussed rapidly at the national level.  Cork Airport says flight cancellations may occur. Cork Airport is one of the three principal international airports in the Republic of Ireland, along with Dublin and Shannon.

Shannon Airport is in Shannon, County Clare, and mainly serves Limerick, Ennis, Galway and the south-west of Ireland. Maybe he storm followed a weekend of unusually warm weather, with some areas in the south reaching a high of 22C (71.6F)  on Saturday, higher than the average October average temperature of the UK about 14C.

Especially beachgoers along the south coast of England have been warned to avoid hundreds of poisonous Portuguese man o’ war jellyfish blown ashore by the hurricane. Jellyfish or jellies are softbodied, free-swimming aquatic animals with a gelatinous umbrella-shaped bell and trailing tentacles.
