Actress Isabel Granada to undergo operation in Qatar.

Isabel Granada was born on March 3, 1976. She is a Philipines singer, actress, pilot and athlete.

On October 25, 2017, Granada fell into a coma after experiencing six cardiac arrests while business trip to Qatar with her husband. 

She was taken to Hamad Medical's Heart Hospital and then transferred to General Hospital Hamad. She has been diagnosed with internal bleeding and aneurysm.

Isabel's best friend, actress Bianca Lapus, prayed for her friend through a post on Facebook. Bianca said Isabel was in a coma after a cardiac arrest. Robby Tarroza, another friend of Isabel, also updated her status.

They say that Isabel Granada is stable now. Her strength is anyway, still in coma but stable. Therefore, they should prepare for surgery soon. Let's pray. She is really a warrior!

Isabel Granada is the daughter of Humberto Granada, a Filipino technician and Isabel Villarama, a member of the Spanish family nicknamed Guapa's Mother. He is fluent in Tagalog, Spanish and English. Her father died in 1995.

In 1998 Granada released the album Out Here on My Own and in 2000 she released In the Mood for Love. She recorded an album with songs like “Crush Na Crush Kita” (You are Really My Crush) and “Di Na Bale” (Never Mind).

She attended the Philippine Air Transport and Training Services College where she obtained her bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering in 2001 and has secured her private pilot license.

In 2008, Granada played the role of Elena Valderama in the remake of Kaputol ng Isang Awit along with Glaiza de Castro and Lovi Poe recently when it was shown on the GMA Network. She also appeared in the romantic comedy Philippine Lalola.

In 2009, she was one of the guest stars in the Philippine Zorro adoption. But in 2013, she joined It's Showtime Kapamilya Celebrity with her Kapamilya and she returned and resumed work on ABS-CBN through Got to Believe.

In 2006, Granada underwent ovarian surgery on the right after a tumor developed; She underwent surgery in 2008 after two follicles developed on her left ovary, accidentally discovered during the removal of benign tumors in her uterus.

On October 25, 2017, she was taken to Hamad Medical's Heart Hospital and then transferred to General Hospital Hamad. She was confirmed to have suffered from internal bleeding,aneurysm.
