Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is an excellent movie.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is a film adaptation of the 50-year-old comic book Valerian & Laureline (1967) of France.

The series is so successful that it's been rated as Europe's Star War. The series was also made into animated film in 2007 and directed by Luc Besson in 2017. The investment cost is $ 210 million.

It's the science-fiction action adventure movie about science fiction in 2017 by Luc Besson and co-produced by Besson and his wife Virginie Besson -Silla. It stars Dane DeHaan as Valerian and Cara Delevingne as Laureline, with Clive Owen, Rihanna, Ethan Hawke, Herbie Hancock, Kris Wu, and Rutger Hauer in supporting roles.

The film was released by STX Entertainment on 21 July 2017 in the United States and on 26 July in France by EuropaCorp. Valerian received mixed reviews from critics, who criticized the writing and plot but praised the visuals, and has grossed $53 million worldwide.

The film is a big journey as Valerian and Laureline return to the Alpha space station. It is a space station where millions of creatures from different planets live peacefully and exchange their knowledge and cultures. However, a dark force has attacked this space station and takes command of the station's space station. And the space rescue mission as well as the commander begins.

Valerian and Laureline are special agents of the human police forces. Valerian has the pearl he took during the black market deal, and Laureline has the converter. Commander Filitt was the one who said that part of the station has been infected by an unknown force, rendering it highly toxic, that troops sent into the area have not returned, and that the infection is spreading.

In terms of content, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets content is very easy to guess, the critics of Valerian plot as thin as paper. But technically, this image is an excellent movie.

Principal photography on the film began on 5 January 2016 in seven sound stages dedicated to the film at the Cité du cinéma, in Saint-Denis, north of Paris. In total, there are 2,734 visual effect shots.

Valerian was released in Israel on 20 July and on 21 July 2017 in the United States and in France on 26 July 2017.Lionsgate will handle the film's release in the United Kingdom and Ireland. STX Entertainment distributed the film in the United States. The film will be released on 25 August 2017 in China.

The first teaser for Valerian was released on 10 November 2016. The teaser depicts Marmakas, Entertainers, Bagoulins, and Shingouz, who all appear in Ambassador of the Shadows. A special exclusive preview of Valerian was shown prior to the Fathom Events 4K restoration showing of The Fifth Element on 14 May and 17 May.
