Daniel Lee Rose was on born 2 July 1990. He is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the England national football team.

Rose played for England under the age of 17 and under 19 before debuting at the age of 21 in 2009. Since then, he has gradually confirmed his role in the team, making 29 appearances. He won first place in a 3-2 win over Germany in 2016.

Recently, he said that he would consider proposing to leave Tottenham Hotspur before he retired. Although he has suffered a knee injury mediating since January, Rose has always tried to claim himself as Mauricio Pochettino's key player.

Rose, a product of the Leeds United academy, joined Tottenham in 2007 and is the club’s longest-serving player.

Rose was named as captain by manager Mauricio Pochettino for the first time in his career in a 2015–16 FA Cup match against Leicester City on 10 January 2016. On 28 February 2016, Rose scored the winning goal in a 2–1 home victory over Swansea City as Tottenham closed the gap on league leaders Leicester City.

Rose signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur until 2021. He scored his first goal of the season on 27 August to help Tottenham clinch the 1-1 draw with Liverpool. . He continued to play strong for the Spurs, bringing many important performances in the first half of the season and on 18 December, he scored a 2-1 victory over Burnley.
