DLSU Green Archers take game 2, set do-or-die vs Ateneo Blue
Eagles.
In game 2 of the UAAP men's basketball championship
playoffs, The De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers defeat the Ateneo
Blue Eagles. The match took place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in November 22,
2017.
This surprise makes the viewer very excited. Many have
commented that The Green Archers extend the best-of-three finals series to a
game 3.

As the Blue Eagles continued to cool down, The Green Archers
were able to concentrate again in the second half when Ben Mbala led the DLSU
(60-58) with 2:03 remaining in the third quarter.
Mbala led the Green Achers team with a doubles - double of
20 points and 16 rebounds while making two assists. Andrei Caracut and Aljun
Melecio also doubled the number of 13 and 12 points respectively.
The Blue Eagles started strong, leading with 21 points in
the first half. Asistio was ignited by hot flashes from the 3-point range
drained 4-of-5 triples in the first two phases. Anton Asistio's first game with
a quick strike made him score a total of 13 points.
Rivero rose to fourth place in the second quarter, Mbala's
jam caused a 10-0 upset for DLSU to end the first half. Game 3 will be on
Sunday, December 3, 4 pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Blue Eagles:
The De La Salle Green Archers (also The Green Archers) are
the men's varsity teams representing De La Salle University. The women's
varsity teams are referred to as the DLSU Lady Booters/De La Salle Lady Archers
and/or the De La Salle Lady Spikers.
The school's varsity teams participate in the University
Athletic Association of the Philippines, among others. La Salle is represented
in the high school level by De La Salle Zobel, and are known as the Junior
Archers.
The Ateneo Blue Eagles is the collegiate men's varsity
basketball team of the Ateneo de Manila University that plays in the University
Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league
in the Philippines.
The collegiate women's varsity basketball team is called the
Lady Eagles while the high school varsity basketball team is called the Blue
Eaglets.
