Daria Gavrilova wins and scolds her family in Australian
Open 2018.
The first news is of concern about Daria Gavrilova. She will
need to produce some of her best tennis to beat Elise Mertens as they face the
second round of the Australian Open. Daria Alexeyevna Gavrilova was born on 5
March 1994. She is an Australian professional tennis player of Russian descent.
She represented Russia until 2015, before emigrating to Australia.
After overcoming the initial obstacles in the Hobart Cup,
she defeated Gavrilova in three sets and then Eugenie Bouchard in straight sets
in Perth. Fans were more excited when Daria Gavrilova had a strong tournament
in Sydney after a very slow start.
Notable news was that Aussie had won 6-1 6-1 against Irina
Falconi in the first round. And there are some side-notes that make people pay
more attention when it comes to news about Daria Gavrilova was not happy with
her family on Monday night. She said that "Especially with my family, my
dad here. And Kate, she's my closest friend. I was like where the hell are

Gavrilova has won one WTA singles and one WTA doubles title,
and has additionally won four singles and two doubles titles on the ITF tour in
her career. On 28 August 2017, she reached her best singles ranking of world
number 20. On 25 September 2017, she peaked at world number 45 in the doubles
rankings.
Gavrilova was an accomplished junior player, having won the
2010 Youth Olympic Games and 2010 US Open, also reaching a combined career-high
junior ranking of world number 1 in August 2010.
During her career, Gavrilova has achieved victories against
former Grand Slam champions Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic, Angelique Kerber,

time.

Hradecka, Petra Kvitova, and Kristina Mladenovic, but then lost in the fourth
round to tenth seed Carla Suarez Navarro. In April, Gavrilova made the quarter-final
of Madrid and the third round of Rome.
In the French Open, Gavrilova lost to Mariana Duque-Marino
in Round 1 and Wimbledon's second round. At the Olympic Games in Rio de
Janeiro, Gavrilova pulled the world number one Serena Williams and lost in
round 1. At the US Open, Gavrilova lost to Lucie Safarova in the first round. In
October, Gavrilova reached the quarterfinals in China, the semi-finals in Hong
Kong and a week later, her first WTA Premier finals in Moscow, both doubles and
doubles.
