Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania in East Africa. It is composed of the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, and consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja  with the main island, referred to informally as Zanzibar and Pemba. The capital is Zanzibar City, located on the island of Unguja. 

Zanzibar island itself is approximately 90km long and 40km wide.

Zanzibar's main industries are spices, raffia, and tourism. 3% of the world's commercial harvest of Seaweed is taking place in Zanzibar island. The industry has ~15,000 women seaweed farmers. 

ZANZIBAR is served by many international direct flights that are ever expanding. Zanzibar International Airport which is also named Kisauni Airport and is the only airport on the island of Unguja.

There is always a lot to see and do on Zanzibar. You will be attracted by the best white sand beaches in the north, east and south. Then there is the beauty of the beautiful beaches like Nungwi / Kendwa, Matemwe / Kiwengwa and Paje / Jambiani. Especially where each attraction is due to their distinct  beauty.

There are a lot of things to do on Zanzibar Island. It just depends on where your interests lie. The inner city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, is a most unique city. Blending Moorish, Middle Eastern, Indian, and African traditions and architectures, it is possible to spend days winding through Stone Town's labyrinthine alleys.

The Beauty of the Matterhorn Mountain in Switzerland.

The Matterhorn is a mountain of the Alps, located between the main river basin and the border between Switzerland and Italy. This is a large, symmetrical peak near the symmetrical Monte Rosa region of the Pennine Alps, with a peak of 14,692 ft, making it one of the highest peaks in the Alps and Europe.

The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points and are split by the Hörnli, Furggen, Leone, and Zmutt ridges. The mountain overlooks the Swiss town of Zermatt, in the canton of Valais, to the north-east and the Italian town of Breuil-Cervinia in the Aosta Valley to the south.

East of the Matterhorn is Theodul Pass, the main passage between the two valleys on its north and south sides, and a trade route since the Roman Era.

The Matterhorn is an isolated mountain. Because of its position on the main Alpine watershed and its great height, the Matterhorn is exposed to rapid weather changes.
